                                  Yes, I have been busy making presses again after a long period

                                   of being too busy running a printmaking class.. it's good to be

Kirsty's Press

 Kirsty's Press will be finished in a few days now I have the time for it having cleared the decks of other jobs and she will come down to Art School Waihi to try it out in the print studio

20 inch Antique Etching Press

                          The current project; 20 inch etching press nearing completion.

Shin Nihon Zokei - The Sixth Restoration

Six of these I have restored. It is becoming a familiar process.. excellent presses just a little small at 400ml wide; 16inches. About a 2.5 to 1 gear reduction. 
Below what Jo's press looked like before restoration; rust and missing handles no bed no felt..

Four Antique Presses for sale

                                   21 inch 1908 Ewbank press, finished and complete with felts

 One free standing press with 22 inch wooden rollers and a 21 inch steel rollers press and a 20 inch steel rollers press all awaiting the fitting of the press bed frames and pressure screws.
