Table Top Etching Press

This press is the baby of the range, 18 inch and made from a 1903 antique seen here with Janet, it's new owner in her studio. I delivered it myself to Janet in Wellington and caught up with friends and family while I was there and took the long way home.
Not a bad life...

Nelson Etching Press - enquiries: johnmulvay@gmail.com

On a recent trip to Nelson in the South Island of New Zealand to paint a mural I took along a table top etching press for Esther Remnant, a gifted Nelson print maker, to try out while I was there.
It worked. She spent a day printing some of her beautiful lino cuts and they printed fine so she bought it.
You can see Esther's work at:  www.nesterprints.co.nz/
